One of the great new features of Volunteer by EverTrue is how easy it is for you to log your activity. By logging your activity, you're keeping the Alumni Fund staff up-to-date and helping us measure the success of our volunteer program in new and exciting ways. 

There are two ways to share your progress using Volunteer by EverTrue:

1. Simply log a "" (First Contact Made, Followed Up, Will Give, Declined, Thank you Sent)
2. Preferred: Log an "," which includes selecting your stage, and also allows you to select how you communicated (email, phone call, text message, social media interaction). It also provides space for you to write a note to remind yourself about your last interaction and to let the staff know your progress. 

The most helpful thing for you to do is to log an "Activity," but we understand that sometimes you may only have time to check off a stage (and that's okay!). We will use this newly tracked data to help us better measure our volunteer program effectiveness (we already know our program is awesome, but wouldn't it be great to put some numbers to it?!) and to better understand how volunteers communicate with assignments so that we can provide you with more targeted samples, templates, and training. 

Within each assignment's Info tab, there are a number of custom fields at the bottom. Note, if an assignment does not have one of the following, the category will not appear. Categories are in the order in which they will appear in the system. 

For those volunteers who are Lead Agents for their class, you will have an expanded view with in Volunteer by EverTrue. In addition to information about all of your assignments, you will have access to a "Pool Report" which provides a summary of how the pool is performing and a list of how each volunteer is utilizing the system. You can use this information to inform class strategy in partnership with your staff Class Manager and to encourage and recognize the great work agents are logging in the system. 

NOTE: The total participation and dollars raised recorded in the Pool Report are related to the individuals in the pool, not º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿ÊÒ's official class results. Pools may include people who are outside of the class year due to marriages and other assignments made. To find out the official totals, contact your Class Manager or visit here and select your class from the list.
