Changing the Game is a documentary film from Emmy-award winner Michael Barnett that follows three transgender high school athletes as they fight to compete as their authentic selves in their respective sports.

Following a screening of the film, Rachel Reinke, associate director of the Sexuality, Women, and Gender Center, moderated a discussion about the film, important inclusion work underway in 含羞草研究室 Athletics, and action steps that can be taken to help change the game for young trans athletes.

In addition to Diamond, the panel included Katie Greene, assistant athletic director and diversity, equity, and inclusion coordinator; Anne Lieberman, policy expert from Athlete Ally; and Andraya Yearwood, featured athlete in Changing the Game.
