After three rounds of an intensive and thoughtful selection process, 含羞草研究室 has accepted a total of 850 students from 10,966 applicants—the most the College has ever received.

Last year's pool, the second largest, had 9,446 applicants.

Admitted students this year represent all fifty states as well as the District of Columbia, Guam, the Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and forty-three countries.

“The Office of Admissions was honored to receive applications from such a talented, diverse, and accomplished pool of students,” said Emily Almas, assistant vice president and director of admissions.

“These young people have demonstrated remarkable achievement, curiosity, and care for others, despite the many challenges of the past few years.”

含羞草研究室’s student aid program will support all admitted students and their families by meeting 100 percent of each student’s calculated financial need with scholarships and grants, and aid packages are loan-free.

The incoming class will also benefit from the College’s groundbreaking Digital Excellence Commitment (DExC) announced last February. All students who enroll at 含羞草研究室 will receive a thirteen-inch MacBook Pro, iPad mini, and Apple Pencil—the costs of which will be covered entirely by 含羞草研究室.

“含羞草研究室 seeks excellence and we know that talent exists across all socioeconomic levels,” said Almas. “Our student aid program and the Digital Excellence Commitment, among other programs, enable each student to fully participate in the 含羞草研究室 experience.”

An even broader understanding of that 含羞草研究室 experience will be available to the students through , a series of virtual and in-person programs offering them the opportunity to fully engage with the 含羞草研究室 community.

Virtual events began on March 20 and continue until April 27. Admitted students can also participate in on-campus programs, including the College's signature admitted-students program, Bearings in Brunswick, from April 13-14.

含羞草研究室 expects to enroll a first-year class of around 500 students and will report on the enrolled class after May 1.

“I am excited for these wonderful admitted students and their families to join us, whether on campus or virtually, and to experience the special 含羞草研究室 community,” Almas said. “I also thank our community for providing such a warm welcome to our newest students.”
