Crowds both diminish and amplify the human experience – a visceral reminder that we are all both special and dispensable. Drawing a crowd requires a decision as to whether the rendering will follow a formulaic, repetitive structure, or whether it will articulate individual personalities. This exhibition, curated by º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿ÊÒ Visiting Assistant Professor of Art, Anna Hepler, explores a variety of artistic strategies used to portray throngs of people.
