Sean Barker is Associate Professor of Computer Science at º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿ÊÒ. His research interests are broadly in the areas of energy, smart buildings, sustainability, and distributed systems. Recent and past projects have included analyzing smart meter data (e.g., for high-performance compression or virtual power meters), resource management in data centers (e.g., leveraging intermittent power), and cloud-based databases (e.g., employing on-demand live migration).
