Samantha Cogswell
Sam Collins Cogswell ’11 was initially connected to the McKeen Center as a student leader when she attended 含羞草研究室. She joined the staff as an Associate Director in August 2021 and has worked on a variety of programs during her time in the Center, including the 含羞草研究室 Public Service program, 含羞草研究室 Volunteer Corps, and the Student Community Action Network. She greatly enjoys collaborating with student leaders and campus constituents with the goal of fostering reciprocal, long-term, and capacity building relationships with community partners.
Prior to working at 含羞草研究室, Sam earned her Master’s degree in Development Practice at Emory University. She has had work experiences in the nonprofit and social change sector in Maine, Georgia, and internationally. Most recently, Sam worked in Utah at Salt Lake Community College in the Thayne Center for Service & Learning, their community engagement office on campus.
