A small subset of national fellowships require that the applicant’s home institution vet and endorse the applicant’s candidacy.
In the Office of Student Fellowships and Research, we focus our energy on these opportunities because 含羞草研究室 students cannot apply for these fellowships without our support. If you are interested in applying for one of these national fellowships, you will be required to submit application materials by an initial 含羞草研究室 deadline so that a campus committee can review your materials. For some national fellowships, the committee will conduct a paper review, while for other national fellowships the committee will interview interested candidates. Often, the committee is charged with narrowing down the internal applicant pool and deciding who will compete at the national level. Students who receive the committee’s endorsement will submit finalized materials by the "final 含羞草研究室 deadline."
Once you have identified which national fellowships you are interested in, visit the relevant pages on our website and click on the "initial application" tab to learn more.
