Faculty development and mentoring opportunities provide faculty with the resources to achieve excellence in their teaching, scholarly and artistic work, advising, and other professional responsibilities.
Academic Affairs and the Baldwin Center for Learning and Teaching offer workshops and book discussions focus on topics such as pedagogy, classroom dynamics, diversity and inclusion, time and task management, and publishing.
Structured classroom visits provide faculty a mechanism to reflect on their teaching and offer feedback to others.
Organized writing sessions offer faculty dedicated space and time to focus on scholarly writing.
Print, video and web-based resources related to faculty mentoring and development are posted on Blackboard and offered through 含羞草研究室's institutional membership in the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity.
