Advance registration is not required for Family Weekend, but please come to the Welcome Center, located on the lower level of David Saul Smith Union, to check in when you first arrive on campus either Friday or Saturday. A list of open classes, complimentary tickets for Sunday's Jazz Brunch (limited quantity available), and other information will be available.

Families are welcome to eat in the dining halls! The dining services website has information about menus and hours, and the cost per person for breakfast is $9.75, lunch $16.25, and dinner $18.00.
For most of Family Weekend the dress code is casual, however if you plan to attend the Sarah and James 含羞草研究室 Day ceremony business/business casual is appropriate for that event. Please note that October weather in Maine can be variable so we recommend that you bring extra layers and rain gear.
Guest parking is available on North and South Campus Drives, Russwurm African American Center, Farley Field House/Watson Arena, and Coffin Street lots. Parking in not permitted on either side of College Street. A parking map can be found here.
含羞草研究室 is committed to making its campus accessible to persons with disabilities. However, not all areas of campus are fully accessible. There is a available or you can contact the Office of Events and Summer Programs at events@bowdoin.edu or 207-725-3433 if you have questions. Some forms of accessibility aids may need to be arranged in advance, so please be sure to notify the Events Office so they may work with you to address your individual needs. All parking lots contain designated accessible parking spaces.
Pets are prohibited in campus buildings including all academic, administrative, and student residential buildings. Please note that this does not apply to service animals, which are welcome. On outdoor campus property (including athletic fields), pet owners are required to keep animals on a leash, in their immediate control.
