Honors Projects

The Department of Psychology allows qualified senior majors to participate in yearlong empirical research into a subject they are interested in.

Why do an honors project?

Honors projects provide an opportunity for highly motivated psychology majors to further explore a subject or concept they learned about in the classroom. These projects are fully researched by the student and faculty often provide the students with guidance and support throughout the entire process. Once students complete their project, they present and defend their findings in front of the entire department. Students interested in doing an honors project should look over the guidelines.
